DAY 19: MIRACLES
Miracles are simply God doing what only He can do. God has punctuated history with evidence of Himself through miracles. While walking the earth, Jesus chose to show His deity through compassionate and merciful miracles. Today, believers worldwide experience miracles in many wonderful ways. The danger in all of this is that we begin to seek the miracle more than we seek the giver of miracles. Let’s not forget the greatest of those compassionate, miraculous acts of God – the fact that Jesus rose from the dead to redeem us from sin and provide everlasting life. When we keep that one, most powerful of all miracles in its rightful place, we keep the Giver of miracles in His rightful place as well.
