At The Local Church, prayer is our first response, not our last resort. We start and we end with Jesus, and we believe that God hears and answers our prayers! We've included a space here to share your prayer requests so that we can come around you as a Familia and partner with you as you believe God for your situation.

The form is simple, and you have three choices when submitting your request. If you select “share this,” your request will be shared publicly on this page, and your Familia will have the ability to let you know we are praying for you. If you select “share this anonymously,” your request will still appear publicly, but your name will be withheld. Finally, if you select “do not share this,” your request will not appear on this page and will only be shared internally with our Leadership Team.

“This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.” 1 John 5:14

I prayed for this

Prayed for 4 times.

My managers mom just got diagnosed with leukemia and they do not have God in their lives. I know it is going to be a hard season for them, but I pray that God can heal her and that they can see his work through her. I pray that he can put his healing hand on Chris’s mom and that she can spend time with her family.

I love you guys and pray and prayyy that God is working in your lives. The Lord is good and the Lord is patient! We have to trust in him and keep praying even through our toughest seasons.

If you guys lost anyone, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 is worth a read. Jesus loves you and is with you always!

God Bless!!

The Perfect Place For Imperfect People

Dan Southerland -

Take Up Your Cross

We have become anesthetized to the meaning of the cross. When Jesus said these words - “take up your cross” - everyone in his day understood. When Jesus took up His cross, He did what God sent Him to do. He embraced God’s will for Him, no matter what. Taking up your cross must mean something like that for you and me too. There are moments when we must embrace God’s will, no matter what, even when it’s not what we want.
